Greenside Playground Project
Contractors will be starting work on the improvement of the Greenside Playground on the 12 November. The project, which will take about 3 weeks, will see some of the older equipment being replaced by new equipment together with other improvements that will enhance the appearance of playground.

Work on the improvements to the Greenside playground will soon be starting. The contract to deliver the project has been awarded to Kompan Ltd after a competitive tender process.
Kompan Ltd is a national company that designs, manufactures, and installs outdoor play and fitness equipment for public and private clients.
The nature of the work and planned improvements will mean the playground will need to be closed to the public and will be surrounded by security fencing during the refurbishment.

- Duration of the work: 3 weeks
- Projected end date: Wednesday 3 December, 2025
Money to pay for the project is coming from Stafford Borough Council’s planning obligation fund received from the housing developments at Walnut Tree Farm and Yarnfield Park.
