John moved to Yarnfield in 1990, and before he retired, he worked for local government in Staffordshire and Leicestershire.

The role of Clerk is to support the parish councillors: to ensure the councillors conduct their business properly and to provide independent, objective and professional advice on all matters relating to council business.
