Parish Council Greenside Playground Inmprovement
Yarnfield and Cold Meece Parish Council has secured section 106 money to fund improvements to the Greenside playground in Yarnfield.
Tenders were invited from 7 companies from which 5 tenders were received.
The tender was awarded to Kompan Ltd, Serenity House, Crescent Furzton Milton, Milton Keynes
Kompan Ltd is a national company that designs, manufactures, and installs outdoor play and fitness equipment for public and private clients.
The nature of the work and planned improvements meant the playground had to be closed to the public and was surrounded by security fencing during the refurbishment.

- Start date: Wednesday 12 November, 2025
- Duration of the work: 3 weeks
- Projected end date: Wednesday 3 December, 2025
Money to pay for the project came from Stafford Borough Council’s planning obligation fund received from the housing developments at Walnut Tree Farm and Yarnfield Park.
